WCCC Accredited Compliance Officer Training Programs

The following list represents programs that have voluntarily agreed to comply with the minimum education and training standards established by the WCCC (World Compliance Certification Council). These WCCC accredited programs undergo periodic inspections to ensure adherence to these standards. The WCCC strives to ensure that each accredited program maintains all minimum education and training standards throughout the accreditation period; however, the WCCC cannot and does not certify that individual programs comply with these standards on a course-by-course basis. The WCCC takes any failure to maintain the minimum accreditation standards seriously and reserves the right to revoke accreditation from any program found to be non-compliant. Additionally, the WCCC certifies the competency of compliance officers who graduate from these programs.

The WCCC accreditation standards include, among others, the following requirements:

  • Minimum Training Hours: A minimum of 80 hours for basic training.
  • Curriculum Composition: The training must consist of at least 80% theoretical instruction and 20% practical application.
  • Duration and Structure: Programs must ensure the 80-hour training is completed within a structured timeframe conducive to thorough learning and practical application.

Periodic Inspections and Compliance

Accredited programs are subject to voluntary inspections by the WCCC to ensure ongoing compliance with the accreditation standards. These inspections are designed to evaluate the quality and consistency of the training provided.

International Accreditation and Certification

The WCCC accredits programs across multiple countries, enhancing the global recognition and portability of the certification. While the WCCC certifies the competency of compliance officers, it is important to note that completing training in a WCCC accredited program is not a prerequisite for certification. Compliance officers can achieve certification through various pathways that meet the WCCC’s standards.

Program Integrity and Accountability

The WCCC upholds strict guidelines to maintain the integrity of its accredited programs. Any program failing to meet the established standards may face revocation of its accreditation. Institutions offering these programs are encouraged to maintain transparency and continuously improve their training methodologies to align with the WCCC’s evolving standards.
